PDF Format
TAC-Scan does automatic analysis of the tire tread depth and condition, printing a report in PDF format to view on monitor screen or print a hard copy for the customer.
The report is divided into wheel position boxes. One box for each tire on the vehicle shows a visual graphic of the tread scanned near the top with the tire nomenclature.
Five Average Zonal Tread Depth area boxes provide color grading of tread depth under each scan with readings confirmed in 0.4" accuracy.

Below the grading boxes appears Tread Analysis Conditions for each wheel position. These boxes report the depth of the tire tread and possible causes of conditions. Corrective actions are listed in the blue box in the lower left-hand corner of the report.
Report Illustration
All customer actions are in the blue boxes. These blue boxes tell customers what to do, where to go, when to go the next time, and offer a coupon incentive. By taking the recommended steps, the customer improves tire tread wear, vehicle handling, and fuel economy for their vehicle.
With the ID and customer information at the top of the report, scans from a returning customer’s vehicle can be automatically located, overlaid for comparison and further trending analysis.
