TAC-Scan is a revolutionary way to measure, track and maximize tire tread life. TAC-Scan utilizes a patented laser system that records up to 660 tread depth measurements, which are analyzed using a proprietary software program to produce a custom report in a simple to understand format. TAC-Scan is available in three configurations to meet the most demanding shop’s requirements. The handheld and floor models offer complete portability; while the new drive-over version is designed for gas island installations, drive-thru customer service lanes and fleet applications.

Tire Profiles inc. Unveils Newest Version Of Laser Diagnostics TechnologyThe TAC-Scan Drive-Over will feature two TAC-Scan Laser systems mounted in a drive-over frame for Gas Island, Service drive-thru lanes and fleet applications. The TAC-Scan Drive-Over will be offered in a standard duty configuration for vehicles up to 10,000lbs GVW and a heavy duty configuration to handle medium and heavy duty truck including tractor trailers. The standard duty is scheduled for delivery 1st quarter of 2010 with the heavy duty version to follow. [ more ]
